Is this just paint on my roof?
No. Paint sits on the surface and eventually peels. Nano treatment is a penetrating product: the nanoparticles travel into the shingle’s pores and bond chemically. There is no film to peel, and the shingle keeps its granular appearance.
Does it really last 10 to 15 years?
Nano-T carries a 10 to 15 year warranty depending on your distributor, and Nano-Revive carries 5 years. Actual lifespan depends on the shingle’s condition at application — which is exactly why the calculator asks about your roof’s age and condition before recommending a product.
My roof is metal. Does this apply?
No. The treatment is formulated for asphalt shingles and certain membranes. Metal roofs are not compatible, and the calculator will tell you that up front rather than waste your time.
My roof is 27 years old. Can it be saved?
Honestly, probably not. Past 25 years the shingle structure is usually too degraded for the treatment to be worth it, and we will tell you so directly. The calculator turns these cases away instead of selling you something that won’t hold.
How is the price calculated?
The price is based on your roof’s actual area, measured from satellite imagery, multiplied by your regional distributor’s per-square-foot rate. No site visit is needed for the estimate, and the final price is confirmed by the distributor on the call.
Do I need to leave my home during the work?
No. Application happens entirely from the outside, in a single day, with no demolition and no dumpster. You can go about your day normally.
Is the product made in Canada?
Yes — it is formulated in Quebec, specifically for our climate’s freeze-thaw cycles. That is a meaningful difference from American products designed for much milder conditions.
Is it environmentally friendly?
